COVID-19 recovery rate in Olongapo City now at 88 percent

OLONGAPO CITY––The city’s recovery rate from COVID-19 increased slightly from 87 to 88 percent within a week, local virus data showed on Monday, July 26.

At least 33 more patients were healed from the viral disease from July 24-25, raising to 2,523 its total number of recoveries.

Only 23 new infections were added to the city’s data in the same period, which pushed to 2,865 its total number of COVID-19 cases since last year. Among the new patients are aged 8 to 79 years old.
