SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Ten workers inside the Subic Bay Freeport tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.
In a statement, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chief Wilma Eisma confirmed that the new patients are all males aged 30-57.
Eisma said the patients, who are all asymptomatic, were exposed to their co-workers who previously tested positive for the disease.
They are now quarantined in a government facility, said Eisma.
To date, SBMA has recorded a total of 350 COVID-19 infections involving freeport residents and government employees, 32 of which remain active; 308 recoveries, and seven deaths.
