BORONGAN CITY, Eastern Samar – Philippine National Police chief General Guillermo Eleazar stressed the need for policemen to follow even the minutest detail of the organization’s policy, including keeping their stations clean.

“We have to remember, where do people go in times of distress? They do not go to the well-maintained regional, national offices but to the local neighborhood station,” Eleazar said.

“This is to show our discipline so we can regain the trust and respect from our townspeople,” he added.

Eleazar said cleanliness in the station, ranks, and community could change the course of the organization’s future.
