MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Some 53 policemen from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Tuesday donated 24 liters of blood to the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital (JBLMH) in the City of San Fernando.

Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo, PRO3 deputy regional director for administration, said in a statement that the Central Luzon police is an active partner of different institutions in their blood-donating programs.

“PRO3 personnel has been altruistic blood donors,” he said.

Colonel Romell Velasco of the PRO3 community affairs and development division lead the blood donation in coordination with Dr. Carl Justin Cruz of the JBLMRH.

Velasco said the activity was in line with the Philippine National Police’s 26th Police-Community Relations Month celebrations.
