2 infants among 74 new COVID-19 cases in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—At least 74 new COVID-19 cases were reported Sunday in this province over the weekend, raising the total active cases to 437.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said among the new patients were a newborn baby girl in San Marcelino town and a 6-month-old baby girl in Sta. Cruz town.

Most of the other new cases had no travel history outside the province but were exposed to COVID-19 patients.

The latest data also showed that 16 more patients recovered from the viral disease.

The province has logged 3,922 COVID-19 cases, 3,389 recoveries, and 95 deaths.
