COVID-19 hits 28 more PNP personnel in Central Luzon
OLONGAPO CITY – Twenty-eight more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Central Luzon were infected by COVID-19.
According to the tally of the Health Service office of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), the latest infections raised to 89 its active cases from 52 in the last two days.
So far, the PRO3 has registered 1,881 COVID-19 cases among its workforce, including non-uniformed personnel, since last year when the pandemic broke out.
Some of its recent infected personnel were recorded in Zambales province.
No recoveries and deaths related to the disease were recorded on the same day, data showed.
