2 more elderly residents die of COVID-19 in Olongapo

OLONGAPO CITY—Two more elderly residents in this city have died due to COVID-19 complications, raising the city’s death toll to 151 as of Wednesday (July 14).

Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the two fatalities were men aged 60 and 73 years old.

Paulino said 14 new infections were also recorded on that day, although 10 more patients have recovered from the disease.

The new figures slightly increased the city’s active cases to 192 from 190 in two days.

The city has logged 2,715 infections since last year, but 2,376 of these had healed.
