Cops arrest alleged top drug personality in Leyte

ORMOC CITY — Authorities on Tuesday arrested the alleged top drug personality in Leyte in a drug bust operation in Poblacion District 7, Burauen town, Leyte on Tuesday, July 13.

Alvin Agustin, 33, did not resist arrest.

Recovered from the suspect’s possession were sachets of shabu (methamphetamine) with a street value of P27,200.

The suspect did not issue any statement to the media.

Charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were readied by the arresting authorities against the suspect temporarily detained at Burauen Municipal Police Station.
