Bohol town hall locked down as 3 employees test positive for coronavirus

COVID-19 infects 5,257 more; PH active cases now at 53,132

TAGBILARAN CITY—The municipal hall of Trinidad town, Bohol province was locked down from July 14 to 21 after three employees there tested positive for SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Mayor Judith del Rosario-Cajes, in an order, said the Trinidad Emergency Management Administration (TEMA) strongly recommended the municipal hall to be closed to allow contact tracing and disinfection in the building.

Municipal officials and employees who work at the municipal hall were advised to go on quarantine during the lockdown.

No one would be allowed inside the municipal hall except for employees of the municipal disaster and risk reduction management office.

The town has 35,119 residents. The number of cases in Trinidad surged from 72 to 81 in just a week.
