4 more Zambales cops infected with COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – Four more policemen assigned to the Cabangan Police Station in this province tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, July 12.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the police officers, aged 29 to 42, were among the new cases in the province.

All of them were exposed to virus-infected patients and showed some symptoms of the disease, such as fever and colds.

On Sunday, three other policemen in the same station were also infected with the disease.

To date, at least seven officers in the police station were being isolated in the Kainomayan Hospital and on a temporary treatment monitoring facility in the province. INQ
