COVID-19 death toll in Zambales now at 90

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Five more COVID-19-infected patients in this province have died, raising its death toll to 90, an official said Monday.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the latest fatalities were 56 to 81-year-old patients who had illnesses.

Bueno also reported that 37 new COVID-19 cases and 47 recoveries were listed on the same day, bringing the active cases in the province to 355.

The province has recorded 3,726 COVID-19 cases since last year but at least 3,280 of them had recovered.

FEATURED STORIES

A total of 33,914 residents belonging to the priority groups in the province had been vaccinated against the viral disease.

At least 12,835 of them had been fully inoculated.
