3 dead, P27-M in shabu seized in Pasig drug sting
MANILA, Philippines — Three drug suspects were killed and more than P27 million worth of shabu was seized in a police operation in Pasig on Monday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported.
Police chief Guillermo Eleazar, in a statement, said Paulo Rioflorido and Richsan David, both 26 years old, and Richard Esguerra, 36, were killed in a buy-bust operation along ROTC Road in Barangay Rosario on Monday morning.
Seized from the suspects were more or less four kilos of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P27.2 million, and a Honda City color gray.
Article continues after this advertisementEleazar said only one kilo of drugs were subject of a buy-bust, while the three kilos were recovered inside the vehicle of the suspect.
Article continues after this advertisementFurther investigation revealed that the slain suspects were members of Mactan Drug Trafficking Syndicate, according to Eleazar.
“This anti-illegal drugs operation accomplishment is a product of our continuous intensified campaign on Cleanliness in the Community aspect under the Intensified Cleanliness Policy,” Eleazar said.
