San Juan Rep. Zamora says he received 2 booster shots after Sinopharm jab
MANILA, Philippines — San Juan representative Ronaldo Zamora on Monday revealed that he was inoculated with Sinopharm along with two other vaccine doses as booster shots to protect himself from COVID-19.
“Noong December, na-vaccinate ako — ewan ko kung dapat kong sabihin ito, Sinopharm,” he said during a press conference in San Juan.
(Last December, I was vaccinated — I don’t know if I should say it — with Sinopharm.)
Zamora said he has since received two shots of vaccine for booster shots, along with two doses of Sinopharm.
“Kung nagtataka kayo kung bakit si Congressman Zamora ay hindi na nagma-mask, sasabihin ko sa inyo: I have been vaccinated, twice, twice over,” the congressman said on the beginning of his speech.
(If you are wondering why Congressman Zamora is not wearing a mask, I will tell you: I have been vaccinated, twice, twice over.)
The congressman said this is due to the recommendation of his doctors due to his being “immunodeficient.”
The Food and Drug Administration has granted an emergency use authorization to Sinopharm, after the Department of Health (DOH) applied on their behalf.
