7 more residents in Subic Freeport cleared of COVID-19

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT—Seven more patients infected with COVID-19 in this city have recovered from the disease, the latest data from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) showed.

In its bulletin Wednesday, July 7, the SBMA said these patients are all residents aged 7 to 48 years old. They contracted the virus between June 18 and 23.

This free port still has 11 active COVID-19 cases among its residents and three among its employees.

Since the pandemic began, over 300 residents, employees, and transients in the free port had contracted the virus. But 295 of them had been cleared of the virus.

To date, seven COVID-19-related deaths have been recorded here. INQ
