Lucena police chief Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea identified the suspects as Jaynard Avila, Rizza Lagrazon, Jonathan Jalla, and Mario Aclan.
All suspects, except for Lagrazon, were on the police drug watchlist. Avila and Halla had previous drug cases.
The report said Jalla and Aclan were nabbed after they sold a pack of shabu to a police agent acting as a drug user in the coastal village of Ransohan at 9:35 a.m.
The suspects yielded nine plastic sachets of shabu worth P172,584.
Earlier, at 9:20 a.m., another team of anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Avila and Lagrazon in another part of the same village.
Authorities seized eight sachets of meth with a street value of P193,800.
Albacea said the former drug users in the village tipped off the suspects’ illegal activities to the police.
The police are investigating the suspects’ source of the illegal drugs.
The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
