San Marcelino, Zambales opens 2nd COVID-19 isolation facility

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A new COVID-19 isolation facility was opened in the municipality of San Marcelino on Thursday, according to the municipal health office.

The facility is the second of its kind in San Marcelino, officials said.

The new facility was put up at the Rabanes Elementary School and will serve patients who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms.

At least six COVID-19 patients have already been accommodated in the facility on Thursday, the town’s public information office said.

San Marcelino Mayor Elvis Ragadio Soria has assured patients who will be admitted in the facility of “comfortable and safe” 14-day quarantine.
