MANILA, Philippines — Motorists using the Skyway Stage 3 elevated expressway will start paying toll on July 12, San Miguel Corp. (SMC) said on Monday.
SMC said this would allow it to recover its investments in the P80-billion project and ensure efficient operations and maintenance.
SMC and the Toll Regulatory Board have yet to release the approved fare matrix with the maximum toll for the 18-kilometer expressway from Buendia, Makati, to Balintawak, Quezon City, set at P264, including value-added tax.
Skyway 3, which is expected to decongest Edsa, can accommodate over 200,000 vehicles per day.
