3 held over illegal drugs, firearms in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A woman and her daughter were arrested during a drug buy-bust operation Monday in Subic town.

Col. Romano Cardiño, provincial police director, identified them as Hamlet Crucillo, who is on the local police drug watch list, and her daughter Alexandra Crucillo.

The police also arrested Hamlet’s friend, Marlon San Jose.

Seized from them were at least eight sachets containing suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) weighing about 6.2 grams and worth about P40,300 in the street market.

The police also seized from them the marked money used in the buy-bust operation and several unlicensed firearms.

The suspects face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the comprehensive firearms law.
