Period for filing certificates of candidacy (COCs) for all elective positions
Oct. 29
Tentative list of candidates is posted on the Comelec website and at the offices where the COCs were filed. Aspirants may check their names.
Nov. 15
Last day of filing COC by a substitute if the original party candidate has withdrawn or died, or has been disqualified

Members of the board of canvassers, electoral boards, Department of Education supervising officers and other support staff are appointed.

Election period starts; the gun ban is enforced

A certified list of voters is posted in the office of the election officer and at the city or municipal hall.

The House of Representatives and the Senate convene in a joint session not later than 30 days after the election to canvass the results and proclaim the President and Vice President.
