IBP elects new set of officers
MANILA, Philippines — The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), the country’s biggest mandatory organization of lawyers, has elected a new set of officers, according to lawyer Domingo Egon Cayosa, the IBP’s immediate past president.
Burt Estrada, from Malaybalay City, Bukidnon province, was chosen by IBP members to succeed Cayosa for a two-year term during their online national convention on June 26. Cayosa’s term ended on June 30.
Estrada, who finished his law degree from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City, served as IBP executive vice president prior to his election. He is a datu of the Bukidnon-Tagoloanon tribe.
