2 found dead near dam in Subic Freeport

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT—Police are now investigating the deaths of two persons inside this free port on Sunday (July 4) night.

Capt. Larry Valencia, chief of the Morong Police Station in nearby Bataan province, confirmed in a radio interview on Monday that the bodies of a man and a woman in their 30’s or 40’s were discovered around 10:30 p.m. near a mini dam along the Boton River.

Valencia has yet to disclose the identity of the victims pending the notification of the families about the incident but he said they were residents of Olongapo City.

He said investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the victims’ deaths.
