Cops nab trike driver for selling shabu in Laguna town

LUCENA CITY—Police arrested a 42-year-old tricycle driver in a drug buy-bust operation Monday in Liliw town in Laguna province
.
Liliw police, in a report, said anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Kristofferson Santillan after he sold a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover cop acting as a drug user in a transaction in Barangay Dita around 1 a.m.

Authorities seized five plastic sachets of shabu from the suspect.

The police also confiscated a tricycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.

The suspect was detained and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
