MANILA, Philippines — Former president Fidel V. Ramos has completed his COVID-19 vaccination.
The 92-year-old Ramos received his second dose of Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccine at the De La Salle Santiago Zobel campus in Muntinlupa City on Friday, according to the city’s Facebook post.
According to the post, Ramos went with his family to be vaccinated.
Ramos served as Philippine president from 1992 to 1998.
The former chief executive is eligible for vaccination under the A2 priority group which includes senior citizens aged 60 and above.
The Department of Health reported that a total of 2,001,758 senior citizens have received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose while 553,527 others are fully vaccinated as of June 20. Faith Yuen Wei Ragasa, Inquirer trainee
