MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has administered 700,000 COVID-19 vaccines in two days, making it the highest number of vaccinations so far achieved in the country since its rollout began in March, National Task Force against COVID-19 deputy chief implementer Vince Dizon said Friday.

In a televised briefing, Dizon said the country managed to administer 350,000 jabs nationwide for two consecutive days on June 23 and 24.

“Actually kahapon, Thursday, pangalawang araw natin straight na umabot ng 350,000 mahigit ng ating vaccination in one day,” Dizon said.
