MANILA, Philippines — The Makati government, in partnership with Rockwell Land Corp., started vaccinating some 15,000 residents, workers and service providers of the Rockwell Center residential-commercial area on Friday.

Part of Power Plant Mall was used as vaccination site for A4 or essential workers of Rockwell.

“We applaud the management of Rockwell Land Corp. for taking part in this strategic collaboration, which has resulted in the rapid setup of a vaccination site for their residents and employees right inside the mall. With safer and more convenient access, they are confident Rockwell can achieve 100-percent vaccination rate in no time,” Mayor Abby Binay said.

The city provided the vaccines and logistics, including medical supplies and cold chain storage while Rockwell provided the venue and the vaccinators. —Dexter Cabalza
