Free concert among Valentine’s Day events at Rizal Park
MANILA, Philippines—Rizal Park is spreading the love on Valentine’s night.
The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC), which oversees the premier park in the City of Manila, has organized a free concert to serenade the public with on Tuesday.
The event, which will start at 7 p.m., will feature the Musical Dancing Fountain in Rizal Park’s Central Lagoon as a romantic backdrop.
Set to perform are bands such as the Rhythm and Voices Half Cadence and The Chongkeys.
Park-goers could also remember the day with two photo booths to be set up at the park, or they could join games where bags and watches will be given away as prizes.
NPDC executive director Juliet Villegas said they will continue to host such public celebrations as part of their efforts to revive and beautify the country’s national park.
