4 more die of COVID-19 in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Four more people died of COVID-19 in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga’s capital, on June 16, local health data showed.

The city government said the fatalities were residents of Dolores, Lourdes, San Agustin, and San Nicolas villages.

A day earlier, a resident of Lourdes and another from Telabastagan also died of the viral disease.

As of June 16, the City of San Fernando recorded 166 deaths. It also recorded 4,559 recoveries, including the 32 recoveries on Wednesday.

Of the 5,205 total COVID-19 cases, 480 remain active.

Barangay Dolores has the most active cases at 56, followed by Calulut at 53, and Bulaon at 40.

Department of Health data show that the eight medical facilities in the City of San Fernando have 217 beds that include 53 for intensive care, 62 for isolation, and 102 for ward beds.
