LUCENA CITY—Police arrested a notorious “weeds” (marijuana) pusher in Calauag town in Quezon province shortly before midnight of Monday.

Major Lawrence Panganiban, Calauag police chief, reported Tuesday that anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Vergel Zamora, 31, at 11:55 p.m. after selling marijuana to a police agent in Barangay Sumilang.

Authorities seized five sachets of weeds worth P1,400 and drug paraphernalia.
