Drug suspect falls in Lucena bust
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation here early Saturday.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Ryan Añonuevo, 28, after he sold a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to a police officer who posed as a drug user in Barangay (village) Ibabang Dupay around 2 a.m.

The suspect yielded four plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P6,664.
Police said the suspect sold drugs while aboard his motorcycle that was also confiscated.
Añonuevo is now detained and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
