SC setting up online payments for court fees

MANILA, Philippines—To keep up with the demands of technology, especially with the pandemic, the Supreme Court is setting up a platform that will allow online payments—and Bar exam applicants will be the first to experience it.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo said: “For this year’s Bar exam, aside from being automated, the court will likewise allow online submissions of Bar examination applications and electronic payment of Bar fees.”

Gesmundo said they are already setting up the Judiciary’s ePayment solution.

He said it “will soon allow litigants to directly pay court fees online using various modes and channels of payment such as credit card, online banking, digital wallet, among others.”
