5,066 Angeles City residents get full vaccination
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga –– Some 5,066 residents of Angeles City have received their first and second vaccine doses against COVID-19, the city government announced Friday, June 11.
The city government said those fully vaccinated include 4,317 frontline health workers under the A1 priority group, 261 elderly under the A2 priority group, and 488 persons with comorbidities under the A3 category.
The city government said 26,106 individuals had received the first dose of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines. Of these, 6,538 are under the A1 priority group, 8,281 under A2, 11,015 under A3, and 272 under A4 or the frontline personnel in essential sectors.
According to the local health data, four patients had died due to COVID-19 complications.
The latest fatalities include a resident from Barangay Cutcut, one from Pulung Cacutud, another from Capaya, and a patient from Barangay Sto. Cristo. A total of 281 residents have died since the start of the pandemic last year.
