ANGELES CITY, Pampanga –– This city logged Tuesday 46 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths.

In its bulletin, the city government said it still has 470 active COVID-19 cases out of the total 5,922.

The new fatalities include a resident of Barangay Amsic and another from Barangay Agapito Del Rosario. This city has recorded 259 deaths due to the disease.

Barangay Sto. Domingo has the most active cases at 44, followed by Sapangbato with 33, while the villages of Pampang and Pandan both have 30 each.

Barangay Balibago, this city’s biggest and most developed village, registered the highest number of COVID-19 deaths at 23. It is followed by Barangay Cutcut with 21, and Malabanias with 16.

As of Tuesday, 5,193 patients have recovered from COVID-19. The city recorded 25 new recoveries on the same day.

The nearby City of San Fernando logged 28 new cases and a single death on Tuesday.

The San Fernando government said the death of a resident in Barangay Telabastagan brought its COVID-19 fatalities to 157.

Local health data showed that the capital city has 4,868 total COVID-19 cases, with 515 active, while 4,193 have recovered from the viral disease.

Pampanga’s third city, Mabalacat, had 12 new patients Tuesday, bringing to 279 active cases out of the total 3,037. Some 2,697 patients have recovered, the city government said.
