SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– A man tagged as the most wanted person in Cagayan Valley was arrested in Subic town, police said Tuesday.
Kristopher Mesias, 39, was arrested during a manhunt operation at Sitio Bukid in Barangay Calapacuan on May 31, the police said.
Mesias is facing charges for murder and illegal possession of firearms before a Nueva Vizcaya court.
The arrest was made based on search warrants issued by Judge Rogelio Corpuz of the Regional Trial Court Branch 27 in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya dated Jan. 17, 2017, and Oct. 17, 2019.
No bail was recommended on both cases, the police said.
