SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Policemen killed Monday a drug suspect in a reported shootout during a buy-bust operation in Subic town.
The police said Larry Salaman, 36, a resident of Barangay Calapacuan, also in Subic, resisted arrest and engaged the lawmen in a gunfight, resulting in his instant death.
Recovered from Salaman were two sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P13,585, a loaded llama pistol, cartridge cases, a motorcycle, and the marked money.
