Poor consumers to enjoy subsidized power rates

/ 04:34 AM June 01, 2021

Low-income power consumers will enjoy subsidized rates for a longer time. President Duterte has signed into law the measure extending the implementation of the lifeline rate, or subsidized power rates, for consumers living below the poverty line by another 30 years. The Energy Regulatory Commission would determine the level of consumption, subsidy and rate.
