COVID-19 death toll at PNP rises to 66
The new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) claimed its 66th fatality in the Philippine National Police on Sunday. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, chief of the PNP, said the latest fatality was a 52-year-old Zamboanga City police captain. He tested positive on May 1 and was confined on May 18 at the intensive care unit of a local hospital due to difficulty in breathing. He died early Sunday morning.
