9 SBMA workers test positive for COVID-19

Test kit to detect novel COVID-19 coronavirus in patient samples

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – Nine employees of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), local health data showed

In an advisory, the SBMA announced on Sunday (May 30) that the employees aged 37 to 63 were confirmed positive for the virus from May 23 to May 28.

At least six of them were placed on government isolation facilities while the others were on home quarantine.

Most of them were exposed to infected co-workers.

To date, the agency has recorded a total of 79 COVID-19 cases among its employees, 12 remained active and 67 had already recovered. INQ
