67-year-old man, 4 others fall in separate Lucena drug busts
LUCENA CITY – A 67-year-old man and four other drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here on Friday and Saturday, police said.
Odelon Abellera, was collared by anti-illegal drugs operatives after he sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent in Barangay (village) Ibabang Iyam Saturday morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said in a report.
The suspect yielded five plastic sachets of shabu.
On Friday, policemen also busted Ma. Catherine Talag, 32; Ernie Espina, 44; Jonjon Ilagan, 23; and Jefferson Contreras in separate sting operations here on Friday.
Authorities seized 20 sachets of shabu from the four suspects.
The volume and street value of the confiscated illegal drugs were not specified in the report.
The five drug suspects all included in the police drug watch list.
