4 drug suspects nabbed in Angeles City buy-bust

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga –– Operatives of the police drug enforcement unit on Sunday arrested four suspects during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pampang here.

In a belated report, Col. Rommel Batangan, city police director, said the suspects included Dennis Abasolo, 44, who is on the list of target drug personalities.

The other arrested suspects are Louie Castro, 26, Jericho Guinto, 25, and Loreto Barbara, 50.

The police said Abasolo and his cohorts sold P500 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover policeman.

Six sachets containing five grams of suspected shabu were confiscated from the suspects. They are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In Minalin, Pampanga police on Tuesday arrested one Jerson Garcia, 36, based on the warrant issued by Judge Robert Alexander Malig of the City of San Fernando Regional Trial Court Branch 45 for two counts of rape.
