3 drug suspects dead in Camarines stings
LEGAZPI CITY –– Three suspected drug pushers were killed in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Victor Lawanan and Andrew Flores were killed in Barangay Tinago around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Bongon said after selling shabu (crystal meth) worth P5,000, the suspects noticed the presence of the police officers and drew their guns.
Lawanan and Flores fired at the anti-narcotics operatives, prompting them to retaliate and killing the suspects instantly.
The police seized a caliber. 45 and .38 guns from the suspects, Bongon added.
In Daet town in Camarines Norte, Dario Oquialda, 35, was also killed in a separate buy-bust operation in Barangay 1 at 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Recovered were 14 sachets of suspected shabu.
