Earthquake jolts parts of Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted parts of Zambales Sunday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The tectonic earthquake, Phivolcs said, struck at 12:41p.m. Its epicenter was traced 94 kilometers southwest of San Antonio and had a depth of 2 kilometers. 

It was felt at Intensity I was in Quezon City and Instrumental Intensity I in Olongapo City and Marikina City.

Aftershocks are possible, Phivolcsadded.
