Another big-time ‘shabu’ trafficker falls in Quezon town bust

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested another suspected big-time drug trafficker and seized over P900,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Candelaria town in Quezon province Wednesday, the police said.

Col. Erickson Dilag, Quezon police chief, reported that Ariel Grande, alias “Aye,” 45, was collared after he sold P500 worth of shabu to undercover police in Barangay Pahinga Norte at 10:15 p.m.

Authorities found Grande carrying six sachets of shabu weighing 46.5 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P316,200 and P948,600 in the street market.

Police were tracking the source of his illegal drugs.

On Tuesday, the city police also busted another big-time drug suspect, Nerrisa Oracion, and seized from her 205 grams of shabu worth P4.182 million in the street market.
