‘Yugoslavian’ facing criminal cases in Pampanga nabbed in Cebu
CEBU CITY – Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday arrested a Yugoslavian national facing charges in a court in Pampanga on charges of child prostitution, sexual abuse, and human trafficking.
Steve Sinisa, who was the subject of an arrest warrant since 2013, was arrested in Barangay Dayon Compostela town, north Cebu, at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
(It wasn’t explained why Sinisa was called Yugoslavian. Yugoslavia broke up in ’90s. Now it’s a mix of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo.)
According to NBI-Central Visayas Director Rennan Agustus Oliva, the NBI Anti-Organized Crime Division, which is based in Manila, and agents of NBI-7 served the warrants on Sinisa.
Special Investigator Agapito Geirran said the human trafficking case filed against Sinisa is non-bailable.

After validating the information, Geirran said they immediately conducted an operation to arrest Sinisa.
Sinisa, who is currently detained at the NBI-7 stockade, is expected to be flown to Pampanga and presented before the judge who issued the arrest warrants.
