COVID-19 recovery rate in Olongapo City remains high at 86 percent
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Despite the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Olongapo City, the recovery rate remained high, local health data showed.
On Tuesday, 10 COVID-19 patients in the city had been cleared of the disease, raising its recoveries to 1,471, Olongapo Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said in a statement.
The figure reflected an 86.32-percent recovery rate out of the 1,705 COVID-19 cases recorded in Olongapo since last year.
Paulino said 13 more patients were battling with the disease, which slightly increased to 161 from 158 in the previous day.
No COVID-19 related death was logged in the city in the last three days. The death toll remained at 75.
