28 more patients recover from COVID-19 in Olongapo
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– At least 28 more patients have been healed from COVID-19 in Olongapo City, raising to 1,399 the number of its recoveries, an official said Wednesday.
Olongapo Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said in an advisory that these new recoveries reduced the active COVID-19 cases in the city to 177.
Local health data showed that the number of patients who recovered reflected an 84.84-percent recovery rate out of the 1,649 total infections recorded since last year.
Paulino said Olongapo also logged 19 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. These patients are aged 23-78.
Among them is a 47-year-old government official exposed to his daughter and a 63-year-old woman who is a cancer survivor.
