Search on for outstanding public officials, employees

THE Civil Service Commission has started its search for the 2012 outstanding public officials and employees.

The search recognizes civil servants who have shown excellence through their innovations and who upheld integrity in the carrying out of their duties despite odds and temptations, like bribery.

Award categories are the Presidential or Lingkod Bayan Award for outstanding work contribution or work performance of national impact, the Pagasa Award for work performance that directly benefits more than one department of the government and the Dangal ng Bayan Award for good working behavior.

The Presidential or Lingkod Bayan awardees, individual and group, will receive a gold-gilded medallion and a plaque bearing the signature of President Benigno Aquino III and P200,000, among others.

FEATURED STORIES

The Dangal ng Bayan awardees will receive a trophy designed by national artist for sculpture Napoleon Abueva and P200,000, among others.

The Pagasa awardees will receive a gold-gilded medallion, a plaque and P100,000.
