Galvez said another 500,000 doses of Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccine CoronaVac are also expected to be delivered this month.

Further, Galvez said negotiations are still ongoing for two million more doses of Russian-made Sputnik V.

In June, Galvez said the following vaccine deliveries are to be expected:

So far, the Philippines has received more than 7.5 million doses of jabs, the most recent of which is two million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from the World Health Organization-led COVAX facility.

The country is also expecting 193,000 doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine this Monday night.
