Lawmaker pushes house-to-house vaccination

/ 05:14 AM May 09, 2021

The government should ramp up its vaccination program by inoculating people against COVID-19 right in the comfort of their homes. Quezon City Rep. Precious Castelo cited the need to ramp up inoculation after additional supplies of vaccines against COVID-19 arrived. On Saturday, Castelo proposed to expand the vaccination drive by “seeking people from house-to-house and offer them the vaccine.” “The government can persuade many of those who are hesitant to take the jab to get vaccinated if local government teams knock on their doors and explain the benefits of taking it,” she said. —Julie M.
