P200K ‘shabu’ seized in Cagayan town

TUGUEGARAO CITY –– Police arrested an 18-year-old drug suspect who yielded P200,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Enrile town, Cagayan province on Tuesday, May 4.
The police said Jack Maggongoy sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent during the operation on Maharlika Highway in Barangay 2.

When frisked, the police seized 51 more sachets of shabu from Maggongoy.

An unidentified companion of the suspect escaped, the investigators said.
Maggongoy was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
