LUCENA CITY –– Authorities arrested a notorious shabu (crystal meth) peddler on Tuesday afternoon after his former clients and now reformed drug users tipped off the police.
Police agents also confiscated six sachets of shabu with a street value of P122,400 from Reygan Padilla, 35, in a buy-bust operation inside a subdivision in Barangay Cotta around 2 p.m., Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said in a report.
The police said former drug users informed them of Padilla’s illegal activity.
Padilla was detained at the police jail and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
